Questions about datasheets and files
Which documents go into an LED strip submittal?
Start with the datasheet for the product family, then add the model's ordering code from the catalog. A complete packet also needs the driver or power supply data and the certificate documentation for the exact models. Our listing guide explains which UL standard applies to which product form.
Can I get an IES file for an LED strip?
Send the model number and an engineer replies with the IES file for that model when one exists. If a model has no IES file yet, we tell you so instead of sending a file from a different product.
Do the datasheets include certification documents?
Datasheets carry specifications. Certification coverage varies by model and belongs to the product and its original manufacturer. Full certificate documentation is available on request, matched to your exact SKUs.
Where are the installation and wiring guides?
They are the technical guides on our blog: run length and voltage drop, driver placement, and Class 2 supply checks. Each guide uses the same model numbers as the datasheets.
How long does the product catalog take to arrive?
