Cut-to-length LED strip and custom neon assemblies, built to your drawing
Send the piece lengths, the lead exits and the shapes. Each piece comes cut on the mark, wired, sealed, tested and labeled to match the drawing, so the install crew mounts and connects instead of cutting and sealing on a ladder.
Six things on the drawing make a buildable assembly
A marked-up elevation or a piece list is enough. We return an assembly drawing for each piece type before anything is built.
-
Piece lengths and quantities
The length of each piece as drawn, and how many of each. We set the lit length on the nearest cut mark below it.
-
Profile and color
The strip or neon profile, color temperature or color, and CRI where it matters.
-
Lead exit and length
Which end is fed, whether the lead leaves the end, the back or the side, and how long it is.
-
Termination
Bare tinned leads, or a connector matched to the driver or the next piece.
-
Shapes
For neon formed to a shape, a full-size template or a scaled drawing with the radii marked.
-
Location
Indoor, damp or wet, so the profile, the end caps and the lead entry match.
Cut on the mark, sealed, tested and labeled
The rules every assembly follows, unless the approved drawing says otherwise.
Length
The lit length is cut on the nearest cut mark at or below the drawn length, never longer. Overall length, end caps included, is held to plus or minus 1/4 in (6 mm) unless a tighter value is agreed on the drawing.
Leads
End, back or side exit where the profile allows it. Leads are 3.3 ft (1 m) unless drawn longer, with one conductor per circuit: 2 for single color, 3 for tunable white, 4 for RGB, 5 for RGBW.
Sealed ends
Every end is closed with a matching end cap and sealant, cured before testing, so the piece keeps the profile's IP rating.
Tested lit
Each piece is powered and checked end to end before it is packed.
Labeled
Each piece carries its ID from the drawing and is packed by area or by elevation.
First article
One piece of each type is built to the drawing and sent for approval before the rest are made. The approved piece is the reference.
What the drawing for each piece type states
You approve this drawing before production; it becomes part of the order.
| Field | What it shows | Default if not specified |
|---|---|---|
| Piece ID | The label on the piece and on the elevation | Assigned by us, by area |
| Profile and color | Model, CCT or color, CRI | As quoted |
| Lit length | Length on the cut mark at or below the drawn length | Nearest cut mark below |
| Overall length | Including end caps, with the tolerance | Plus or minus 1/4 in (6 mm) |
| Feed end and lead exit | End, back or side; which end | End exit at the left end of the drawing |
| Lead length and termination | Length, conductors, connector or bare ends | 3.3 ft (1 m), tinned ends |
| Shape | Template reference and minimum radius | Straight piece |
| Location | Indoor, damp or wet; IP construction | As quoted |
From the elevation to labeled pieces on site
Lengths and shapes are settled on paper first, then on one approved piece.

Custom assembly questions
How accurate is the length of a cut piece?
The lit length lands on the nearest cut mark at or below the drawn length, so it is never longer than the drawing. Overall length, end caps included, is held to plus or minus 1/4 in (6 mm) unless a tighter value is agreed on the assembly drawing.
Why is the lit length shorter than the piece I drew?
LED strip and neon can only be cut on their printed marks, every 3.94 in (100 mm) on our standard neon profiles and 1.97 in (50 mm) on the nano series, for example. A drawn length between two marks is built to the mark below, and the drawing shows the exact lit length before production.
Where can the lead come out?
From the end cap, the back or the side, depending on the profile. The assembly drawing shows the exit and the feed end for each piece type, and the lead length, which is 3.3 ft (1 m) unless you draw it longer.
Can you form neon to a shape?
Yes, within the profile's bend direction and minimum radius. Send a full-size template or a drawing with the radii marked; the first piece of each shape is built and sent for approval before the rest.
Are the ends sealed for outdoor use?
Every end is closed with a matching end cap and sealant and cured before testing, so the piece keeps the profile's IP rating. Wet-location use is confirmed for each model at quote.
What is the lead time and minimum for assemblies?
Custom builds add roughly two to three weeks to the standard lead time, and the ship date is confirmed in writing on the quote. Assemblies are quoted per job, and every quote states the minimum.
Send the elevation or the piece list
You will get an assembly drawing for each piece type, the lead time and the minimum, and a first-article sample to approve.
