Supply range

This page gathers every board we supply at 6 mm wide or less, sorted by width, so you can start from the slot or channel you have. Each model also appears on its own product page with the full spec: SMD, COB, SCOB, tunable white, RGB and neon flex.

Most thin boards draw about 6 W/m (1.8 W/ft). That keeps the heat low enough for a narrow channel, and the best 4 mm board still reaches 117–130 lm/W. White models render at 90 or higher, 2700K to 6500K. IP20 boards are standard; sealed versions of most models are built to order.

Key features

Why contractors spec our thin strip

3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5 and 6 mm

Pick the board by the slot: every width from 3 mm up, in SMD, COB and SCOB.

Up to 130 lm/W at 4 mm

The 2835 160 LEDs/m thin board runs 117–130 lm/W at Ra≥90 on 24V.

6 W/m for narrow channels

Most thin boards draw 1.8 W/ft, so a slim channel can carry the heat away.

White, tunable or RGB

A 4 mm tunable white board and 4.5 and 5 mm RGB boards keep color control in a thin line.

Short cut points

Cut every 0.49 in (12.5 mm) on 3 mm 2110 at 12V, or every 0.33 in (8.33 mm) on 5 mm cuttable boards.

Dot-free options

COB and SCOB boards from 2.7 to 6 mm give a continuous line with no diffuser.

3 mm & 3.5 mm Thin LED Strip

The narrowest boards we build: 3 mm SMD in 2025, 2110 and 2216 packages, 3 mm dot-free COB, and two 3.5 mm boards. They fit hairline reveals, glass-shelf edges, mirror frames and the smallest aluminum channels. Most run at 6 W/m (1.8 W/ft) and come in 16 ft (5 m) lengths fed from one end.

4 mm & 4.5 mm Thin LED Strip

The widest choice of thin board. 4 mm SMD runs from 120 to 280 LEDs/m, and the 2835 160 LEDs/m board reaches 117–130 lm/W. 4 mm dot-free COB is here too, along with a 4 mm tunable white board and a 4.5 mm RGB board, so a slim channel can still change color temperature or color.

Mini Neon Flex — 3 to 5 mm Wide

When a thin line has to be weather-sealed or bent into shapes, mini neon flex keeps the width at 3 to 5 mm with the strip inside a silicone body. Side-bend profiles follow letterforms and curves; the COB versions give a fully dot-free line. Width × height is listed for each profile.

Frequently asked questions

What is the thinnest LED strip you supply?

3 mm wide boards in SMD (2025, 2110 and 2216 packages) and dot-free COB, plus one COB board at 2.7 mm. Thinner lines are usually mini neon flex or CSP strip, which are thin in height rather than width.

Do thin LED strips get hot?

Less than you might expect. Most of our 3–5 mm boards draw 6 W/m (1.8 W/ft), about the same as a standard low-power strip, and they still need to be mounted on aluminum, not wood or plastic. The cuttable 5 and 6 mm boards run at 8–12 W/m and need a channel to carry the heat away.

See LED channels & diffusers

What size channel do I need for a 4 mm LED strip?

Pick a channel whose inside width is at least the board width plus about 1 mm, so a 4 mm strip needs 5 mm inside. Measure the actual slot, because adhesive tape and solder pads add a little to the board.

How long can a thin LED strip run?

Plan on 16 ft (5 m) per feed. The 3 mm and 3.5 mm boards are rated to 16 ft (5 m) from one end, and the other thin boards are sized for one 16 ft (5 m) reel per feed. Longer runs take a feed every 16 ft or a feed at both ends.

Check a run in the voltage drop calculator

Can a thin LED strip be tunable white or RGB?

Yes. UT-T280-4-2110 is a 4 mm tunable white board, 2700K to 6500K. UT-R120-45-2835 is a 4.5 mm RGB board, and UT-R120-5 is a 5 mm RGB board.
