Is the LED strip UL Listed?
UL Listed options are available. Certification is held by the original manufacturing partner and coverage varies by model, with RoHS documentation available for your submittal package. Each reel ships with a datasheet stating CRI, ±2 SDCM binning, and W/ft. Request the compliance file and Unitop sends it before the PO.
What's a typical lead time?
Standard CCT/CRI combinations ship in 1–2 weeks. Custom builds — nonstandard density, PCB width, or connector — add roughly two to three weeks. Unitop confirms the ship date in writing when the quote goes out.
Is there a minimum order?
Minimum order is one full reel per SKU on standard items, so a single run never forces a bulk buy. Project quantities are priced per foot once the take-off is confirmed. Larger rollouts consolidate into one PO and one shipment.
Can I get samples before I commit?
Samples are available before any commitment — Unitop ships the exact CCT and CRI you're specifying so color and output get verified on site. Most sample requests go out within a few days. Send the run length and color target to start one.
What warranty do you offer?
The strip carries a limited warranty of up to 5 years, covering LED and PCB defects under rated operating conditions. The applicable period varies by product series and is stated on your quotation and order confirmation. Unitop handles warranty claims from the US, so there's no overseas RMA to chase.
Will the strip work with my dimmer or control system?
Low-voltage strip runs on constant-voltage drivers and dims by 0–10V, ELV, TRIAC, DALI or PWM, depending on the driver and controller paired with it. 120V line-voltage strip dims with TRIAC or ELV phase-cut dimmers only. Send the control protocol and dimming range you need, and the quote specifies a compatible driver. Addressable runs use SPI or DMX512 controllers instead.
Which commercial projects do you supply LED strip for?
